Marcel Dabo signs at Indianapolis Colts

Dabo was selected on Tuesday via the funding program for international talents, as the NFL announced. Dabo had not yet found a club with the NFL draft, in which the clubs were able to choose talents in seven rounds.

Last season the Cornerback for the Stuttgart Surge played in the then newly founded European League of Football (Elf). He landed directly in the All-Star team, and he was elected as a defensive rookie of the year.

At the Colts, Dabo meets Bernhard Raimann, who was the first Austrian to pull the NFL draft. Indianapolis chose the 24-year-old offensive player in the third round.

Quarterback in the coming season is Matt Ryan, who had previously shaped an era at the Atlanta Falcons.
