Willem Dafoe talks about his return as the green goblin
One of the most striking points of Spider-Man: No Way Home, is the return of multiple classic villains played by its original actors. This is the case of William Daphne as the Green Elf. In a recent conversation, The actor revealed new details about the participation of him on the tape, and the future of this character.
During a panel dedicated to the villains of No Way Home in CCP, Daphne, Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx talked about returning to the Green Elf papers, Dr. Octopus and Electron respectively. It was here where the actor in charge of the antagonist of the first ribbon of Spider-Man, pointed out the changes between the appearance of him in the film by Sam Rail, and the next participation of him in the MCU. This was what he commented:
I stayed there for eight hours and put different pieces of preform. Now, they scanned me and can design it and then make the disguise, then try it. It is a great leap in technology. They are more flexible. We can do more things with them.
It looks a little different... the old Norman and the goblin are lower on the line and have some tricks below the sleeve. So it is not exact: there have been improvements in disguise, let's say.
While the actor did not speak much about the role of him, his comments from him point out that the Green Elf will have a series of improvements and will be a great danger for this version of Peter. Next to this, rumors point out that this villain will be the main antagonist of No Way Home.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released on December 15, 2021. In related topics, Kirsten Dust talks about the possible return of her as Mary Jane. Similarly, here you can see the first trailer of Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse.
Editor's note:
Without a doubt, it is good to return to these three actors in a Spider-Man movie. While it is still a question how is it that these characters will be integrated into the MCU, at least we can be sure that the performances will be quite good.
