Test of the Kilukz arena, second DLC of the Naheulbeuk dungeon

Boston!

The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos - DLC 2 Announcement, Makeup call. Naheulbeuk's dungeon: The Amulet of the Disorder is released on PC on September 17, 2020, and then hosted a first DLC, the ruins of Limit, May 25, 2021, on the occasion of its Output on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Its exit on PlayStation 5 and on Xbox Series X | S accompanies the second DLC, tested today: the Klutz arena. Each DLC is sold individually for €10 or gathered in a seasonal pass that costs 30... on PC. Indeed, on consoles, the game includes the first DLC, but the other two must be purchased separately. The last of them, back to the futon, will come out in 2022. If you have not followed, Dear Villagers summarized the situation in two images:

Boston!

You may not have understood it, since I'm as subtle as the barbarian, but this second additional content focuses on the fight. Indeed, the player chains a series of clashes... and that's all. The scenario is extremely reduced.

Moreover, it is not possible to continue on its backup: the adventurers are all at level 1 and without equipment. They then rise from level at the end of the different clashes, harvesting a little gold to buy equipment.

At first, it is terribly frustrating: move from one character level 11 outlined at a level 1 without skill constitutes a difficult shock to cash. Indeed, it highlights the omnipresence of the random, one of the major defects of the title, but which is rising progressing. The strategic panel is also enriched as and when. In short, if it is necessary to cling at the very beginning, the title then embarks quickly, even if this DLC is more suitable for several short spaced sessions than a (very) long night video game.

In addition, the game had a very good idea: it is possible to freely change the composition of his team between each fight. No member is imposed: it is quite possible to exclude the Ranger and the thief, for example, to take the priestess, the palatine and the Kestrel at the same time. This is an opportunity to discover the companions left out in the main adventure, even if in reality, the game encourages little to change composition for each fight. Indeed, there is no point in having a poorly equipped character and money lacks terribly. Also, better, in any case initially, keep the same composition for several fights. Pity.

Especially since the opponents are extremely varied and the level design, which I criticized in the previous DLC, ingenious. The fighting is extremely nice, and it would have been better to choose the team in a truly free way, without having to check if we have enough money to equip each desired member.

Boston!

The fifteen fighting of this additional content took me a little less than ten hours, four more than the ruins of Limit. It is logical: the developers have been content to take existing enemies and have limited the narration to a minimum. Yet the result was really satisfactory: once the first fighting, I took a lot of fun in the Klutz arena, more than with the previous content. I have also appreciated this return on the game, which is once again the perfect pleasure guilty. Also, only one question deserves to be asked: Boston? when is the continuation?
